Dr. Josiah Alfred Mills Cobbah


Dr Cobbah is a member of the governing council. He has a wealth of experience in Development Planning, Adult Education, Multiculturalism and Project Management.

He is a corporate administrator and academic with a strong interest in issues of management within multicultural settings. He taught for many years in universities in the U.S. before coming back to Ghana to be involved in the start-up of Westel Ghana, the country’s second licensed telecommunications network operator, which involved the U.S. company, Western Wireless. After eight years as Deputy Managing Director of Westel, he served as lecturer and Head of Administration at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the National Identification Authority.
