Ernesticia Lartey Asuinura
Ernesticia joined the Council in July 2014. Prior to that, she was the Director, Finance and Administration of the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET), an agency also under the Ministry of Education.
She is a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). She holds a Master of Business Administration degree (Human Resource Management) from the University of Cape Coast, where her final dissertation on “The Effect of Human Resource Practices on Corporate Performance” was published in the International Business Research, a Journal of the Canadian Centre of Science and Education.
Ernesticia also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Identification, Development and Management from Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Banking & Finance) from the University of Ghana.
She is an alumna of Archbishop Porter Girls' Secondary School where her leadership grooming started when she was made the Assistant Head Prefect.
Ernesticia has considerable knowledge and experience in Education Management, particularly ensuring quality education delivery through books and skills development. She also has a wealth of experience in Financial Management, Business Management, as well as Customer Service and Performance Management; having served in various top management capacities in both the public and private sectors.
A self-motivated individual, assertive and principled, Ernesticia has a drive for effectiveness and efficiency. Her passion is to promote the progressive acquisition of quality education and guide the youth, especially those from marginalized groups to acquire knowledge and employable skills.
