Ghana Book Development Council (GBDC) has provided some Basic schools with book booths stocked with assorted reading books. The beneficiary schools included those which participated in the Council’s reading festivals as well as its year-long reading sessions in the Basic schools. The essence was to help them continue the reading exercise even as GBDC move to other districts or communities which are yet to benefit from the exercise.
