The Ghana Book Development Council (GBDC) has supported the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) "Community Development Challenge' with assorted reading books as award for the winners of the competing schools. One of the purposes of the 'Community Development Challenge' which was organized for some basic schools in the community is to assist in educating future leaders on environmental sustainability.
The wining schools included 'Our Lady of Fatima School' (First position), Agomanya Methodist Basic (First Runner-up) and Ogome Anglican Basic School (Second Runner-up).
Congratulations to the UESD on embarking on this important and useful exercise and the participating schools on expending their energy and resources to participate in this exercise.
