The Ghana Book Development Council (GBDC) had a two-day meeting with book industry practitioners in Kumasi from 30^th June 2022 to 1^st July 2022 at the Department of Publishing Studies, KNUST. The Executive Director of GBDC, Ms. Ernesticia L. Asuinura and the Production Services Manager of GBDC, Kofi Asante Twumasi, interacted and familiarised with printers and booksellers on the first day, as well as writers and publishers on the second day respectively.

Building a culture of reading is fundamental to the success and growth of every society. Society and nations thrive on knowledge – financial, sociological, technological, psychological, religious and cultural – which is largely stored in books.

Reading with Authors programme at some selected schools in La Nkwantanang Madina Municipality - Lawrence Dramani supports GBDC's reading promotion at Presec Staff Basic School.
